Fifty Shades...

I've recently been reading the Fifty Shades of Grey novel, classed as 'mummy porn', which I can't quite understand, but I suppose, as a mainstream book, it is 'interesting', even though it's badly written.  With better editing and less repetitive prose it would have been a 5* book, but sadly, too much eye-rolling and lip-biting became irritating after the first couple of offences. I would consider it titillating and light hearted fun but most certainly not a literary classic.  However, I am a huge fan of an amazing author from America.  Phil Torcivia has had many ebooks published - available on Amazon for the Kindle - and writes an engaging and entertaining blog.  He is currently writing his own version of the Fifty Shades trilogy - Fifty Shades of Silver Hair and Socks - a little tongue in cheek but a far better read.
